Legacy’s Dearinger wins Edith Fox King Award

Written by Evan Blackwell, CJE

The Interscholastic League Press Conference (ILPC) honored Rachel Dearinger from Legacy High School in Mansfield, Texas, this past weekend with an Edith Fox King Award.

Dearinger, a co-adviser at Legacy, a Walsworth Yearbooks customer school, accepted the award at the ILPC’s annual awards dinner in Austin, Texas.

Each spring ILPC recognizes advisers who have made significant contributions to Texas scholastic journalism by awarding them the Edith Fox King Award. Recipients may be advisers, college professors, persons in the publishing or journalistic professions, and others deemed worthy of such recognition.

Congrats Rachel!
