When you work on a yearbook staff, you know how central the Photos area is to everything you do. From collecting your captured moments to organizing coverage to deciding what to use to build your spreads, it’s where your story takes shape.
That’s why we gave it a refresh and made it easier than ever for you and your yearbook staff.
The Photos area in Yearbook 360 just got a makeover with a cleaner look and a more intuitive experience, designed to help your staff stay focused and keep moving forward.
A fresh look built for real workflows
Yearbook staffs are busy. Between covering events, meeting deadlines and managing hundreds or even thousands of images, the workflow needs to feel simple, not overwhelming. This refresh is all about that experience.
Instead of adding more complexity, the refreshed Photos area focuses on making things feel smoother, more organized and easier to navigate. A new List view option on the Albums page gives your team a clearer way to manage large volumes of images, while the overall experience helps students and advisers stay in rhythm as they work.
Because when your tools feel natural, your creativity has more room to show up.
Designed to keep your staff moving
The best yearbook teams don’t have time to slow down. They need tools that keep up with how they actually work.
With this update, the Photos area has been rethought to reduce friction and support a more efficient workflow. Features like faster upload speeds and being able to minimize the uploader while working on other things allow your staff to keep working without interruption.
Even small moments in the workflow are smoother. You’re now able to take action directly for the photo by hovering, eliminating the step to open photo details, helping your team move quickly when organizing and selecting images.
The goal is simple: help your team spend less time managing photos and more time telling your story.
Built around how yearbook teams create
Every yearbook program is different, but one thing is consistent. Photos drive everything.
From documenting events to building spreads, the Photos area is where your book comes to life. This refresh reflects that reality, with an updated experience that supports both quick tasks and deeper organization without getting in the way.
Coverage doesn’t always happen at a desktop, which is why you can now allow photo tagging and uploading from mobile devices, making it easier for your staff to capture and contribute in real time.
It’s not about changing how you work. It’s about making what you already do feel easier.
A better experience for your entire staff
This isn’t just a visual update. It’s about creating a more intuitive experience for everyone on your team, from first-year staffers to experienced editors.
Students can move faster. Advisers can stay organized. And your team can stay focused on what matters most: capturing the moments that define your school year.
And when it comes time to review your work, a full-page slideshow view with zoom in/out feature makes it easier to evaluate photos and choose the best ones with confidence.
