Theme Gallery

When creating a yearbook, staffs typically have a difficult job to do – sorting through all the chaos of a school year to determine what to cover and which memories make it in the book. For the staff of the 2018 Torch at Athens Drive, the theme became all about “Sifting Through the Noise.” The idea of “noise” was created visually in this edition of Torch through the use of extra copy in the backgrounds of spreads and overlapping photos. The staff also used layering of elements to represent the “bombardment of information.”
