“Pay attention. There’s a lot being said.” Those are the opening lines of the 2018 Indian – a perfect intro to the theme, “People are talking.” A lot of people were talking, and a lot was going on at Shawnee Mission North during the 2017-18 school year and the Indian staff captured it beautifully. Thin lines, which appear on the front and back cover, run at the top and bottom of every page in the book, giving the appearance of capturing the book’s contents in a box. The theme phrase on the front cover, and most of the book’s headlines, appear in a font combo of Futura and Playlist.
