No matter how much changes from year to year, the McKinney staff felt like many traditions and aspects of their school stay the same. That foundation is almost “endless.” As past editions of the McKinney book always seem to do, the 2018 Lion again featured the gold and blue school colors on the cover, endsheets and most of the theme pages. Gold cutouts were used on many images to emphasize individuals and help them stand out. Thick and thin lines were strung throughout the book to represent how McKinney has persisted over time.
