U.S. Sen. Blunt tours Walsworth yearbook facilities

Written by Evan Blackwell, CJE

U.S. Sen. Roy Blunt (Mo.) continued one of his annual swings through the state of Missouri on Tuesday by visiting the yearbook printing facilities at Walsworth in Marceline to discuss private job creation.

Sen. Blunt took a tour of the Walsworth presses and bindery, then held a roundtable discussion on the economy with local business leaders and elected officials.

The fact that Sen. Blunt chose Walsworth’s facilities as the location of his latest economic panel on job creation indicates the value and appeal yearbooks continue to have.

“We’re honored that Senator Blunt would choose Walsworth as the venue for his economic roundtable discussion,” said Don O. Walsworth, CEO of Walsworth Publishing. “We’re very proud of the people that make up our company and of our facilities.”
