Three yearbooks printed by Walsworth named 2011 ACP Pacemaker Finalists

Kansas City, Mo. (April 5, 2012) – Three yearbooks published by Walsworth were among the 16 yearbooks selected as 2011 Pacemaker Finalists by the Associated Collegiate Press (ACP).
The yearbooks printed by Walsworth were The Angelos from California Baptist University in Riverside, Calif.; Warbler from Eastern Illinois State University in Charleston, Ill.; and Recensio from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
The ACP’s annual Pacemaker is considered one of the highest honors in student journalism. Judges rank the yearbooks on thorough coverage and content, sophisticated design, exemplary writing and editing, and outstanding photography. The finalists were divided into two categories based on page count, with five yearbooks of 300 or fewer pages, and 11 yearbooks with more than 300 pages.
Winners of the 2011 ACP Pacemaker contest will be announced at the ACP/CMA National College Media Convention in Chicago, Oct. 31 through Nov. 4, 2012.
