Six yearbooks named 2010 ACP Pacemakers

Kansas City, Mo. (Oct. 31, 2011) – Six college and university yearbooks were honored Saturday as 2010 ACP Pacemakers by the Associated Collegiate Press (ACP) during the ACP/CMA Fall National College Media Convention in Orlando.
The six were selected from the 11 Pacemaker Finalists announced in February. Two yearbooks published by Walsworth – Petit Jean from Harding University in Searcy, Ark.; and Recensio from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio – were among 2010 Pacemaker Finalists.
The ACP’s annual Pacemaker is considered one of the highest honors in student journalism. Judges rank the yearbooks on thorough coverage and content, sophisticated design, exemplary writing and editing, and outstanding photography.
