Seven Walsworth yearbooks place in Best of Show at San Francisco JEA/NSPA

Kansas City, Mo. (April 30, 2013) – Seven yearbooks published by Walsworth placed in the Best of Show contest this past weekend at the JEA/NSPA Spring National High School Journalism Convention in San Francisco.

In the Yearbook 224 or Fewer Pages category, three yearbooks published by Walsworth placed. Wings from Arrowhead Christian Academy in Redlands, Calif., finished second; while Hoofbeats from Burges High School in El Paso, Texas, finished third. Competing in a category against high school yearbooks, The Scrapbook from Westfield Middle School in Westfield, Ind., placed eighth.

Two Walsworth yearbooks placed in the top 10 of the largest book category, for 325+ Pages. Lair from Shawnee Mission Northwest High School in Shawnee, Kan., placed fifth, while Legend from William R. Boone High School in Orlando, Fla., placed sixth.

Additional winners included Decamhian from Del Campo High School in Fair Oaks, Calif., which placed fifth in Yearbook 275-324 Pages; and Falcon from Glendale High School in Springfield, Mo., which placed seventh in Yearbook 225-274 Pages.
