Seven Walsworth yearbooks place in Best of Show at San Diego JEA/NSPA

Overland Park, Kan. (April 14, 2014) – Seven yearbooks printed by Walsworth Yearbooks placed in the Best of Show contest this past weekend at the JEA/NSPA Spring National High School Journalism Convention in San Diego.

In the Yearbook 224 or Fewer Pages category, four yearbooks printed by Walsworth placed, led by Hoofbeats from Burges High School in El Paso, Texas, which finished first. Wings from Arrowhead Christian Academy in Redlands, Calif., finished second; while The Ayrie from Liberty North High School in Liberty, Mo., finished fifth, and Talon from Andress High School in El Paso, Texas, finished eighth.

Two Walsworth yearbooks placed second in their categories. Decamhian from Del Campo High School in Fair Oaks, Calif., placed second in Yearbook 275-324 Pages, while The Scrapbook from Westfield Middle School placed second in the Junior High Yearbook category.

In the largest book category, for 325+ Pages, Lair from Shawnee Mission Northwest High School in Shawnee, Kan., placed third.
