President’s Collection

As the last year before their school was set to go through major renovations, the Burges staff used the 2018 Hoofbeats to capture that last moment in time and remember their school “as they knew it.” The photography in Hoofbeats frequently amazed, starting with the sunset captured on the cover. And the book pulls from a pleasing color palette that doesn’t overwhelm. The organization of the book was traditional and cohesive, with each division page featuring a list of topics and page numbers covered in that section.
