Four Walsworth schools place in Best of Show contest at JEA/NSPA

Kansas City, Mo. (Nov. 15, 2010) – Yearbooks from four Walsworth schools placed in the Best of Show contest this past weekend at the JEA/NSPA Fall National High School Journalism Convention in Kansas City.

The top honors among Walsworth yearbooks were the third place finishes for Lair from Shawnee Mission Northwest High School in Shawnee, Kan., in the 325+ pages category; and Wings from Arrowhead Christian Academy in Redlands, Calif., in the 225-274 page category.

Other Walsworth schools to place in the Best of Show were the Hauberk from Shawnee Mission East High School in Prairie Village, Kan., which finished fifth in the 325+ category; and the Regal Red from Maize High in Maize, Kan., which finished fifth in the 224 or fewer pages category.
