Eight Walsworth yearbooks place in Best of Show at Seattle JEA/NSPA

Kansas City, Mo. (April 16, 2012) – Eight yearbooks published by Walsworth placed in the Best of Show contest this past weekend at the JEA/NSPA Spring National High School Journalism Convention in Seattle.

In the Yearbook 224 or Fewer Pages category, four yearbooks published by Walsworth placed. Wings from Arrowhead Christian Academy in Redlands, Calif., finished first; Hoofbeats from Burges High School in El Paso, Texas, finished fourth; The Ayrie from Liberty North High School in Liberty, Mo., placed sixth; and Talon from Andress High School in El Paso, Texas was 10th.

Three Walsworth yearbooks placed in the 325+ Pages category, including Lair from Shawnee Mission Northwest High School in Shawnee, Kan. (third); Hauberk from Shawnee Mission East High School in Prairie Village, Kan. (fourth); and Decamhian from Del Campo High School in Fair Oaks, Calif. (sixth).

Reflections from Blue Valley High School in Stilwell, Kan., finished sixth in the Yearbook 275-324 Pages category.
