"They’re not like us.

Unlike many schools, Athens Drive (The Drive) is unique in many ways. Our students and staff are not only driven to learn but are full of curiosity and endless possibilities to strive for greatness.

This year alone, 'The Drive' has won the Magnet Schools of America 2025 Top School of Excellence Merit Award for the second year. The students have also made it possible for Dr. Boshoff to be the AVID principal of the year for Wake County Public Schools.

So how could they be like us? They can’t!"
