"Looking back, you thought you couldn't do this.

"The early morning practices to perfect. The Heist field show, your first soccer game of the season, or completing your AP Lang summer assignment the day before school started. Didn't you swear you were going to finish in the first week of June?

"When the heat slapped you in the face at the end of August and forced you to practice before school, you didn't know if you could make it through the rest of the day. You weren't sure if you could do this.

"Getting back home at 9 p.m. seemed really late after theater rehearsal for The Prom, especially when you still had math homework waiting for you.

"When you've been in one room for each class the entirety of middle school, switching classroom locations every day seemed intimidating. No matter what they were, you knew lots of challenges would come your way."
