"Draped on living room couches, brains finally at rest, we reset to ocean waves at Juno Beach. We slide through summer internships while planning an elaborate calendar of concerts, clubs, AP classes: an ambitious bucket list that seems realistic.

"Then August hits, and we realize our two hour free period can't contain four AP classes worth of work. We're hit by waves of NHS hours and 'Mamma Mia!' rehearsals. We're challenged by trying to balance all the things that looked easier on paper while we try to stay awake during first period after two months of sleeping in."
