President’s Collection

The editors of the 2016 Buffalo were inspired by grunge typography and the power of print. As they wrote in the book’s colophon, they felt “breaking rules of design could bring the personalities and voices throughout our school to life…” So, the staff wasn’t afraid to go a little crazy. While the coverage is organized chronologically, readers found inverted images, repetitive use of text and other standout touches that made this book memorable.
