Spread creation 101. This middle school spread can be used as a to-do checklist for designers of any age. Fantastic dominant? Check. Attention-getting headline? Check. Photo package that helps tell the story? Check. Flawless cutouts for additional coverage? Check. Four-part captions in A. B. C. D. format? Check. Story in past tense? Check. Consistent, appropriate spacing? Check. Beyond the sheer perfection demonstrated by the designer, the spread showed an attention to detail that only comes from true dedication to telling the story of this event, and more importantly, the passion demonstrated by the students involved. Bravo!
