Dawn of a New Marketing Age

At this summer’s Adviser Academy, Walsworth’s Aimee Parsons, Jenica Hallman, CJE, and Alec Aguirre presented the session Dawn of a New Marketing Age to help yearbook staffs expand their digital marketing presence.

Virtual school and hybrid learning have taught us that digital marketing is more important than ever. Even though we are transitioning back into the classroom, yearbook staffs can’t rely on the same old in-school marketing strategies of the past. You’ll need hybrid marketing strategies to give your sales the boost they need. Learn tips and tricks from Walsworth’s marketing team that will add some sizzle to your sales.

About the hosts

Aimee Parsons is a Campaigns and Promotions Supervisor in the Marketing Department for Walsworth Yearbooks. She has worked in the yearbook industry for more than 10 years. She loves showing yearbook marketing and sales ideas to new advisers and helping them build a successful program.

Jenica Hallman, CJE, is a Copywriter for Walsworth Yearbooks and the Editor of Idea File magazine. Yearbooks got into her blood in high school, and she has been pursuing them ever since. She has worked in various capacities as a high school and college yearbook editor, an adviser, sales representative, plant customer service representative and now in marketing, her favorite role to date.

Alec Aguirre is a Marketing Specialist for Walsworth. He enjoys writing and editing videos for broadcast. Alec holds a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from the University of Kansas.
