President’s Collection

As the opening copy of the 2014 Lair said, “Is it just me, or is there just something different about this year?” There’s always something unique about a school year, and good yearbook staffs find a way to tell that story just like the Northwest staff did. Memorable images from the opening spreads appear on the cover, including a fun dominant of the school’s cougar mascot. In addition, the layered triangles from the cover appear throughout as a theme element. The Lair’s diverse coverage includes stories on social media, mental health, tattoos and first-person accounts. The book makes 2014 look like a fascinating year at Northwest, or as the closing copy says “there really is just something about it.”
