Use gift certificates to offer the yearbook as a holiday present

Written by Evan Blackwell, CJE

Stores are breaking out decorations, kids have begun their wish lists and Thanksgiving is only a week away. The holiday season is officially upon us.

If you’re not already considering it, the holidays are a time that yearbook staffs can promote book sales. A great way to do that is by offering yearbook gift certificates to parents.

Walsworth Yearbooks provides a simple holiday gift certificate template on the Market to Parents page at walsworthyearbooks.com, which allows you to customize several fields, including school name, yearbook name, recipient name and purchaser name.

What other marketing tactics do you use to promote sales around the holidays?
