"Let's be real. We've realized that getting a grade isn't the only reason we come to school anymore.

When we saw our friend had the same class as us, we knew algebra wasn't going to be that bad. We completed our required community service hours. We felt confused when we actually enjoyed our required reading English class.

We went to pep rallies and yelled, and the juniors won the spirit stick for being the loudest. Some of us were frustrated that admin squashed our attempts to mentally intimidate our opponents every. single. game.

But let's be real... we made the most of our 8 unexcused absences, made the grade (or not) and made the best of our 180 days at HBHS."
