Haltom High School Principal David Hamilton announced the school’s motto for the 2017 school year would be “Haltom has heart,” and the yearbook staff ran with it. The staff chose a concept theme, using “H” to show the school and its students in a positive manner. The split in the H, felt on the embossed cover and seen in the school’s orange and black colors throughout the book, represented the multiple sides of Haltom. With that direction to guide coverage, the staff filled the book with photos, stories and graphics showing how Haltom was Home and how Haltom has Heart.
