Caught Our Eye

Not just a clever pun for a headline, the creative know-how and willingness to include a spread on plant parenting in the yearbook is bookish and savvy. Staffers of the Maverick took care of photographing a plethora of plant life while offering a clean and guiding design to invite readers to look everywhere on the page. Someone had fun with “Aloe there, can you hear me?” as the poll title for green-thumbed folks who talk to their plants. Yearbook staffs should always be looking at trending activities in a school and have fun when they decide to go for it. The yearbook staff serving McNeil High School went for it.
