Our latest fun video submission comes from the yearbook staff at Howard Lake Waverly Winsted High School in Howard Lake, Minn.

This year’s staff is producing a series of episodes called “The Last Yearbook,” which have been played on the school’s news broadcasts each month and on the school’s Facebook page.

Perhaps you’ve seen Ikea’s recent “bookbook” video – the two-minute ad the company posted online upon the release of its annual catalog. The simple, fun video parodied Apple and called attention to the many attributes that Ikea’s printed catalog still has.

The “bookbook” video quickly went viral. Which is why the yearbook staff at Timber Creek High School in Fort Worth, Texas, decided to create their own homage to Ikea’s video.

The yearbook staff at Argo Community High School in Summit, Ill., recently put the finishing touches on a yearbook-themed music video it took them two weeks to produce.

The video, a takeoff of the hit song “Best Day of My Life” by the American Authors, uses its own original yearbook lyrics with Argo students singing.
