West Morris Central loving their Yearbook 3D cover

Written by Evan Blackwell, CJE

The Talisman yearbook from West Morris Central High School in Chester, N.J., is one of only a handful of schools to become an early adopter of Walsworth’s new Yearbook 3D mobile app this year.

West Morris Central had an animation created for their book’s cover, and the early returns have been overwhelmingly positive. This week, the yearbook was featured in an article by local paper the Long Valley Patch.

When scanned with the free Yearbook 3D app, the animation on the Talisman cover goes into motion with flying images of students and eventually ends with an exploding starburst.

As editor Emily Thomas told the Patch, “I, myself, am very proud of the yearbook that WMC has produced this year and the technological advancements that we have taken on.”

You can see an image of the Talisman cover below. To see the animation, visit the App Store or Google Play and download the free Yearbook 3D app, then use the app to scan the image!
