Join Mike Taylor on Tuesday to talk yearbook design!

Written by Evan Blackwell, CJE

Walsworth’s National Yearbook Week celebration will continue on Tuesday, Oct. 8, when Journalism Specialist Mike Taylor takes center stage to talk design.

There is a real science to current yearbook page design, as Taylor will explore during his webinar at 1 p.m. Central time. The discussion will cover how to use your columns, dominant elements and packaging to relate to your reader.

Taylor has been with Walsworth Yearbooks for the past two years as a Journalism Specialist, eagerly teaching and providing information on design and other yearbook topics at workshops and conventions nationwide, as well as Walsworth’s Adviser Academy. Taylor was previously a yearbook adviser for 13 years at Lecanto High School in Lecanto, Fla., where his yearbook staffs won numerous state and national awards.

There is no advance sign up, but you can get more information, and attend the webinar on Tuesday by visiting this link.
