J.W. Mitchell staff wows students, parents with Yearbook 3D

Written by Evan Blackwell, CJE

Suncoastnews.com wrote an article last week about the yearbook staff from J.W. Mitchell High School in New Port Richey, Fla., another Walsworth Yearbooks school that is making a huge impression with their audience by using the Yearbook 3D platform in the 2014 yearbook.

The Mitchell book has 25 images that transform into videos when scanned with the free app provided by Walsworth augmented reality partner Aurasma.

In addition, the Mitchell staff decided to use Walsworth’s new Yearbook Shout app, allowing students to leave video signatures in books.

Mitchell yearbook editor-in-chief Baylor Cherry told suncoastnews.com, “I’ve had people say, ‘This is the best yearbook I’ve ever seen.’”
