On Monday, Oct. 3, it’s Talk Like a Yearbook Day!

Written by Evan Blackwell, CJE

You know what today is? Yes, it’s the beginning of National Yearbook Week – a chance for you to have a week-long celebration of the yearbook.

But it’s more than that! Walsworth is declaring today Talk Like a Yearbook Day, a movement we started during National Yearbook Week a couple years ago.

Theme days have become very popular – Talk Like a Pirate Day, Talk Like Shakespeare Day, even Talk Like a Physicist Day. We feel National Yearbook Week is the perfect occasion to hold Talk Like a Yearbook Day.

Some yearbook signature sayings are universal. You know them, you’ve seen them. So today, try saying them for fun. Here’s a list to help get you started. Reply to this post and add to it.

Seniors rule the house!

Stay sweet and don’t change!

LYLAS! (Luv ya like a sis!)

Stay cool!

Have a great summer!

Stay outta trouble!

Good luck in whatever you do.

I’ll be hearing about you!

See ya next year!

We’ve had good times together. Don’t let that end!

You are 2 cool 2 be 4 gotten.

Stay sweet!

Keep in touch!
