Marion High yearbook staff adds to the Gangnam Style fun

Written by Evan Blackwell, CJE

There’s no question that the hit song “Gangnam Style” has been a popular inspiration for yearbook videos.

The yearbook staff from Marion High School in Marion, Ark., was the latest to join in on the fun with their version for Walsworth’s 2012 Video Contest. It’s a wild, nearly 5-minute version that seems to have gotten quite a bit of the school involved.

You can see the video below, then you can vote for “Marion High School Gangnam Style” over at Walsworth’s Facebook page by giving it a Like. The video contest runs until Nov. 19, and winners will be selected by a committee of judges based on the following criteria: message and appropriateness to theme, creativity, entertainment value, viral nature as determined by the number of video Likes on Facebook and technical prowess.
