Kick-start Your Sales – Editable PDFs

Written by Aimee Parsons

It’s been a busy week since Kick-start Your Sales was released last Tuesday and I wanted to make sure you haven’t forgotten about some of the helpful items that will greatly benefit your 2011 yearbook sales.

Now, I know you’ve spent this entire last week thinking about what strategies you would like to take for back-to-school/school registration (wink wink), but a few more minutes couldn’t possibly hurt!

Kick-start-salesTwo of the new items I wanted to discuss with you this week are the editable PDFs for the Yearbook Order Form and Yearbook Invoice.  Editable PDFs are awesome, because we have the base of the form set up for you so all you need to do is add in your school information!

Before you get ahead of yourself and start filling out the form, remember that in order to use the editable PDFs you must first download the individual files to your computer and rename them. Once they are saved and renamed you can open the file and place all of your school information onto the forms.

Once you get the Yearbook Order Form set up with all the correct information, make sure to print off enough copies to hand out at your Back to School Event, stuff in a packet or be included in the back-to-school/school registration download.  Make sure to only hand these forms out to parents who don’t want to pay right on the spot, because if you can get them to buy now you don’t want to give them any reason to wait! A sale is a sale!

As the year goes on and you start receiving the order forms back you can use the Yearbook Invoice PDF to send out to parents reminding them that they need to pay for the book and how much they owe.  The Yearbook Order Form and Yearbook Invoice really can work in great harmony when used together.

If you have any questions about how to use these forms, email them to marketingyearbooks@walsworth.com.

In the meantime, be on the lookout in the coming weeks for more Blog posts about some of the other cool and helpful things you can find in the Kick-start Your Sales manual!
