Gilbert High School turns in a “Marvelous” yearbook video

Written by Evan Blackwell, CJE

The yearbook staff from Gilbert High School in Gilbert, S.C., is using the theme “Marvelous” for the theme of this year’s book, and that also ended up being the title of the video they submitted for Walsworth’s 2012 Video Contest.

As they explained, it’s going to be a super hero-themed yearbook. And the idea behind the video is “everyone can show heroic qualities, even the yearbook staff.”

Watch the video below, then you can vote for Gilbert’s “Marvelous” over at Walsworth’s Facebook page by giving it a Like. The video contest runs until Nov. 19, and winners will be selected by a committee of judges based on the following criteria: message and appropriateness to theme, creativity, entertainment value, viral nature as determined by the number of video Likes on Facebook and technical prowess.
