First Flight staff, Patterson Wells celebrate Photo Contest wins

Written by Evan Blackwell, CJE

Yearbook photographer Patterson Wells from First Flight High School in Kill Devil Hills, N.C., was one of the big winners in Walsworth’s 2014 Photo Contest.

Wells took the top prize in two different categories – School Spirit and Clubs/Organization – and was also chosen Honorable Mention in two other categories – Sports Action and Academics.

Wells got the chance to celebrate recently with the rest of the First Flight staff when local Walsworth Yearbooks rep Cozy Livas presented her with all her awards certificates and $100 Visa gift cards for the staff to use. The staff was also treated to a pizza party.

First Flight Principal Arty Tillett was on hand for the celebration too!

Congratulations to Patterson, adviser Robin Sawyer and the entire First Flight staff!
