Authors Lisa, Laura Ling will be keynote speakers at next JEA/NSPA

Somewhere Inside bookNSPA announced on its Facebook page this week that authors Lisa and Laura Ling will be keynote speakers at the upcoming Spring National High School Journalism Convention in Anaheim.

Last year the Ling sisters wrote the book Somewhere Inside – the story of documentary filmmaker Laura’s capture by the North Korean government in 2009 and the courageous efforts by Lisa, a professional journalist, to help bring her home.

Both Ling sisters attended Del Campo High School in Fair Oaks, Calif., and were involved in student publications while they were students.

The JEA/NSPA Spring Anaheim Convention will be held April 14-17.
