A couple days work pays off for Lee’s Summit yearbook student

Written by Evan Blackwell, CJE

Check out this article from the walsworthyearbooks.com News & Notes section about Kenzi Jordan, the photo editor of the yearbook at Lee’s Summit High in Lee’s Summit, Mo.

Kenzi decided to take a shot at designing the logo for next year’s Fall National High School Journalism Convention, which will be right in her hometown of Kansas City. After working on the graphic for a couple days in yearbook class earlier this year, her logo ended up winning.

Not a bad clip for the portfolio for Kenzi, who says she wants to study photography and graphic design in college.
