A handful of yearbook staffs turned out to be big winners on Friday afternoon for their visit to the Walsworth Yearbooks booth during this week’s JEA/NSPA Spring National High School Journalism Convention in Los Angeles at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel.

Advisers who took the time to view brief demos of Walsworth products were entered into a drawing for the chance to win one of two Chromebooks, or one of two Wacom tablets. The winners were selected on Friday:

  • Suju Park – San Juan Hills High School, San Juan Capistrano, California – Chromebook
  • Miranda McCann – Santa Rosa High School, Santa Rosa, California – Chromebook
  • Natalie Hernandez – Mayfair High School, Lakewood, California – Wacom tablet
  • Debra Wycoff – Aviara Oaks Middle School, Carlsbad, California – Wacom tablet

The coloring books at the Walsworth booth were also so popular that a coloring contest was held on Friday afternoon. First prize went to Evelyn Luu and Jonathan Ng from Temple City High School in Temple City, California, and they got to take home a fun sign from the booth.

Second prize in the coloring contest went to Katelyn Bancroft from Montezuma-Cortez High School in Cortez, Colorado.

Congratulations to all the winners!
