NSPA names 2009 Picture of the Year Finalists

The National Scholastic Press Association (NSPA) is getting ready for their upcoming annual awards at the Fall National High School Journalism Convention in November with “Roll-Out Week,” where they will be announcing the finalists in several individual contests and the Pacemakers.
First up is the finalists for Picture of the Year.
Photographers from four Walsworth yearbooks made the list, including Tyler Roste from Shawnee Mission East High School, Michael Shaw from Arrowhead Christian Academy, Eric Zoeller from Shawnee Mission North High School and Lillie Schenk from Winnetonka High School.
