Nannemann builds timeless covers in her role as prep lead

Written by Walsworth Staff

For the rest of this year, Walsworth will be featuring an Employee Spotlight series on its websites as part of the company’s celebration of its 85th anniversary. Walsworth’s people are our most important resource and the Employee Spotlights will give you a chance to get to know them better.

Edythe Nannemann

Cover Prep Department – Brookfield, Missouri

I’ve worked 46 years at Walsworth. I love my job and all the challenges it involves.

I’ve been the Cover Prep Lead at Walsworth for 36 years. In the Cover Prep Department, we review and enter the cover information that is submitted, contact the Sales Rep or talk to the customer if necessary. The information we input creates the orders for all the materials and allocations required to produce book covers.

When I started, I thought working here would be something I would like to do and I knew a lot of people who worked at Walsworth.

What I love most about my position is seeing the finished product and talking with Sales Reps and customers.

My coffee mug says, “All I need is a little bit of CAFFEINE and a whole lot of JESUS.”

When I’m not at work, I enjoy reading, doing counted cross stitch, playing cards and traveling. I love to spend time with my family. I currently have one cat named Puff who rules the house.

In my community, I am active in my church and contribute to a lot of charities.

Walsworth has provided me with the funds to make a living and travel throughout the United States.

My favorite memories I have here were made at the Christmas parties we had with my co-workers.
