Last day brings sadness but also joy

Last day.
Realizing that the last day of a wonderful trip is here is hard to acknowledge. Waking up this morning and realizing that I only have one more day with new and old friends was hard to wrap my mind around.
I had to take 5 classes today and that wasn’t my idea of how to spend my last day at the nation’s capitol… but oh well.
At the end of the night, when the dance was over, things were packed, and everyone was in bed, I realized that it was time to head home and deal with all the splendors that came with it, including school.
This being my last journalism convention, I will miss all the friends I met and the other awesome things these conventions have to offer. I wish the best of luck to the spring convention and hope it is just as awesome as this one was!
