Kansas City, Mo. (Sept. 27, 2012) – The deadline for yearbook staffs to enter their publication into the Columbia Scholastic Press Assocation’s annual awards is now only a couple weeks away.

Yearbook staffs have until the postmark deadline of Oct. 15 to enter their 2012 publication in for consideration with the CSPA Crown Awards. Each year, the CSPA’s Gold and Silver Crown Awards are among the most-recognized honors a yearbook can win.

To enter the Crown Awards, a school must sign up for CSPA membership, picking from one of the three levels of membership available. Regular CSPA membership also includes a critique for a school’s publication. Memberships forms and additional details can be found at the CSPA website.

Yearbook staff members have until the postmark deadline of Nov. 1 to send in entries for the CSPA’s Gold Circle Awards. Offered each year to recognize superior work done by student journalists, entries in the Gold Circle Awards must have been published between Oct. 31, 2011 and Nov. 1, 2012.

Additional details, instructions, a list of categories and the Gold Circle entry form can be found at the CSPA website.
