Standing well over six feet tall, with a booming voice, penchant for bright-colored shirts and a dynamic personality to match, Walsworth’s Mike Taylor is hard to miss. The Certified Journalism Educator can often be spotted, microphone in hand, at the many yearbook conferences he attends.
He’s more than just a big personality – Mike Taylor knows yearbook. He gives talks and teaches yearbook classes. Taylor’s the guy who takes the lead at workshops and webinars.

Taylor has been in the yearbook business for decades. He started out as an adviser at Lecanto High School, and won several awards during his 13 years at the Florida school. Now, as a Journalism Specialist, he’s Walsworth’s go-to guy for all things yearbook. Taylor has social media accounts dedicated to yearbook help, ideas and inspiration. He fields questions through the #AskMike hashtag on Twitter.
