Thirty years. It seems unthinkable when I write it down.
But for the past 30 years, I have been involved with student media and publications. Whether as a middle school student with my first introduction to journalism, a high school and college editor, or the last 17 years working with student journalists as a Walsworth representative, it is safe to say yearbook is a passion of mine.
How are your book and ad sales? Could they use a boost?
Watch my video below to see how you can improve your sales by thinking like the best salespeople around - six-year olds.
I learned of Walsworth with my first teaching job as my hiring school was under contract, and I am so glad they were. While the former programs get the job done, they are far less user-friendly. Online Design has built in photo editing and other capabilities that mimic Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator without the wild expense. Students quickly learn the program and the results look incredible.
As a brand new Adviser this year, I found the job both challenging and overwhelming. Fortunately, Kris has helped me from the start. He has been instrumental in teaching me the ropes, as well as teaching my students. He has been helpful in all areas, from program management, to page design, to marketing and ad sales. Without Kris’s guidance, I would have had difficulty tackling this monumental assignment.
