Yearbook quotes can tell you plenty about your friends

Written by Evan Blackwell, CJE

Brian Soergel of the Woodinville (Wash.) Patch wrote a column about yearbooks this week, after his daughter brought home the latest high school tome.

During a cleaning binge several years ago, Soergel got rid of his senior yearbook, a move he now calls “dumb and dumber” due to all the memories he lost.

Fortunately, he was able to enjoy his daughter’s yearbook by glancing through the signatures and the senior quotes for some good laughs. As Soergel wrote about the quotes, “They can tell you a lot about someone. Some quotes are serious. Some heartfelt. Some are inside jokes. Some just plain funny.”

What’s the funniest senior quote in your yearbook?
