Walsworth releases 25 new fonts for yearbook staffs

Written by Marketing Staff

Kansas City, Mo. (Oct. 13, 2010) – In an effort to provide even more creative flexibility for its yearbook staffs, Walsworth Publishing has added 25 new fonts to its AWPC font collection this school year.

The new fonts were selected based on feedback from designers and Walsworth’s yearbook sales representatives working in the field with schools, as well as research on font usage and yearbook trends. The fonts were picked because they were considered contemporary and fun.

“Our new fonts were chosen because they’re relevant to what staffs are using in yearbooks today,” said Alex Blackwell, Walsworth’s director of marketing. “These additions give our schools more options when designing their pages.”

With the additional 25 fonts, Walsworth now has 139 fonts in its AWPC collection. The full list of new fonts can be viewed in the PDF below.
