Walsworth publishes Volume 5 of Possibilities book

Kansas City, Mo. (Sept. 17, 2012) – Walsworth Publishing announced that Possibilities, Volume 5, the latest edition of its yearbook showcase book, has been printed and is now available.

The newest edition of Possibilities features more than 600 examples from 172 yearbooks from the 2011 and 2012 school years. In each edition of Possibilities, some of the finest work done by Walsworth schools gets selected to appear.

“An appearance in the Possibilities book is one of the highest honors we can bestow upon our schools,” said Alex Blackwell, Walsworth’s vice president of marketing and communications. “Yearbook staffs across the country use Possibilities as a source of inspiration and ideas.”

Just like previous editions of the book, Possibilities, Volume 5, features the Theme and By the Book sections, which have a synopsis for how those staffs went about creating their yearbook. The rest of the book is broken down into traditional yearbook sections Student Life, Academics, Sports, Organizations, People, Images and Cover Gallery.

possibilities 5 coverThis year’s Possibilities includes a special 75th anniversary 8-page tip-in supplement, which commemorates Walsworth’s company history with a timeline. The book also demonstrates many of Walsworth’s printing capabilities.

Features used on the Rich Matte Jet Black cover include hot foil, embossing, debossing, a laser cut and clear silkscreen. Spot UV coating has been applied on the back endsheet and divider pages, and the book is printed on one of Walsworth’s Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC-C004755) certified paper stocks.
