Walsworth offering multiple chances to win prizes during National Yearbook Week

Written by Evan Blackwell, CJE

National Yearbook Week, Oct. 4-10, is now less than two weeks away and Walsworth Yearbooks is planning a huge celebration!

Specifically, we’ll be celebrating with contests. And a whole lot of them! In fact, there will be a new contest each day of National Yearbook Week for advisers and staffs. Take a look at this schedule of events:

  • Marketing Contest – Oct. 5-9 – All week long, you can submit photos and posts on our Facebook page showing us the creative ways you have been marketing the yearbook. The more creative the campaign, the better. The prize will be one of five $100 Visa gift cards. Winners will be announced on Oct. 16.
  • Best Adviser Ever – Oct. 5 – Monday is World Teachers’ Day and we want your yearbook staff to tell us why their adviser is the best. Go to our Facebook or Twitter pages and tell us why. The post must include #bestadviserever to be entered. The winner will receive a $100 Visa gift card and will be announced on Oct. 6.
  • Yearbooks Go Viral – Oct. 6 – On Tuesday, show us your best yearbook Vine or Instagram video (20 seconds or less) by posting it to our Facebook or Twitter pages. You must include #yearbooksgoviral to be entered. The winner will receive a $100 Visa gift card and will be announced on Oct. 7.
  • NYW 2015 – It’s a Celebration – Oct. 7 – On Wednesday, tell us how you are celebrating National Yearbook Week by posting your story or pics to our Facebook or Twitter pages. You must include #celebratenyw2015 to be entered. The winner will receive a $100 Visa gift card and will be announced on Oct. 8.
  • Best Theme Ever – Oct. 8 – Tell us why your yearbook theme is the best on Thursday by posting it to our Facebook or Twitter pages, and you could win a $100 Visa gift card. You must include #bestthemeever to be entered. The winner will be announced on Oct. 9.
  • Design it Better – Oct. 9 – To cap off the week on Friday, show us a design from a magazine or elsewhere and tell us how you would improve it! Post the design, along with a description of your ideas to our Facebook or Twitter pages. You must include #designitbetter to be entered into the contest. The winner will receive a $100 Visa gift card and will be announced on Oct. 12.

Walsworth Yearbooks will be posting across our Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest pages, as well as right here in the Yearbooks Blog, with updates all week long!
