Time to start organizing your yearbook room is now

Written by Marketing Staff

One of the most important tasks you will tackle in wrapping up this year’s yearbook and getting ready for next year is organizing the yearbook room.

There’s probably a good chance that the hectic pace of the yearbook work year has left the room in rough shape. Now, it’s time to get things cleaned up. This list of tasks will help get you headed in the right direction:

  • File printouts, and back up all page and proof files.
  • Decide what to do with any unused hard-copy photos. One idea is selling them to raise money.
  • Take inventory of all office supplies and make sure you order everything you will need for next year – printer paper and cartridges, CDs, pens, staplers, etc.
  • Review the ad materials. Collect and return all photos that were promised to patrons, such as baby or senior pictures.
