Timber Creek yearbook staff provides a helping hand to East Rockaway

Written by Evan Blackwell, CJE

Remember our feature story a few months back about the yearbook staff at East Rockaway High School, who was left to deal with the flooding from Hurricane Sandy?

Well, another Walsworth yearbook school – Timber Creek High School in Keller, Texas – learned of the East Rockaway story and got inspired to help them recover any way they could.

The Timber Creek staff sent a care package to the folks up at East Rockaway, with candy, sparkly stickers and glow sticks – all in an effort to brighten their day.

Timber Creek students put together a care package to send to East Rockaway High School.

In an additional show of support, Timber Creek purchased an ad in this year’s East Rockaway yearbook.

Everyone at the Yearbooks Blog is proud of the Timber Creek yearbook staff. Awesome job!
