Take a look at John Wayne’s yearbook photo

Written by Evan Blackwell, CJE

Think about this – if one of your high school classmates becomes really, really famous, then the value of your yearbook might just go through the roof.

On a recent episode of the History Channel show “Pawn Stars,” a man who bought one of John Wayne’s high school yearbooks for $1 at an estate sale brought it in to see how much it was worth.

According to the Huffington Post, Wayne (known by his real name Marion Morrison in high school) was featured all over the yearbook. The shop bought the book for $800. Not bad for a $1 investment.

Anybody famous in your yearbook?
