Take a look at Jeremy Lin’s middle school yearbook

Written by Evan Blackwell, CJE

In the past two weeks, New York Knicks basketball player Jeremy Lin has become a sensation. Undrafted out of Harvard, Lin stepped into the New York lineup and is scoring 27 points a game as a starter.

Lin, one of the few Asian-American players in NBA history, has been viewed as a classic underdog story and has touched off “Linsanity” among basketball fans and New Yorkers.

So naturally now that Lin is famous, it was only a matter of time before his old yearbook photos started popping up online. Here’s his 7th grade photo from Jane Lathrop Stanford Middle School, with the book currently being auctioned online for $4,800.

Looks just like a future NBA star, right?
